The Australasian College of Tropical Medicine (ACTM) celebrates the centenary of tropical medicine in Australia this year.
In keeping with its aim of promoting professional development in the field of tropical medicine, ACTM is preparing to introduce admission to Fellowship of the College by examination for registered medical practitioners [FACTM (Clinical) ] and other health care professionals [FACTM (Paraclinical)]. In order to support candidates for these exams, current members of the ACTM will present a series of teaching aids via this and other websites including the ACTM official website. These include a recommended reading list. The answers to practice questions and further discussion on these topics can be found in the candidates’ area of the College website. Prospective candidates should contact the ACTM to register as users ($60 Affiliation fee, and a $500 FACTM examination fee when registering for the exam).
